Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach strategies, methods and techniques of teaching mathematics and to have preservice teachers acquire the skills of developing and evaluating teaching applications in which they can practice mathematics teaching strategies, methods and techniques.

1   To be able to comprehend strategies, methods and techniques of teaching mathematics.
2   To be able to design teaching applications regarding learning areas by using mathematics teaching strategies, methods and techniques.
3   To be able to present (implement) teaching applications regarding learning areas by using mathematics teaching strategies, methods and techniques.
4   To be able to evaluate teaching applications regarding learning areas by using mathematics teaching strategies, methods and techniques.
