Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to be able to experiment about basic optics settings and to make measurement about reflection, refraction, interference, diffraction and polarization of light.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. To be able to know the basic optical devices
2   2. To be able to explain optical images observed in daily life
3   3. To be able to establish basic optical settings
4   4. To be able to discover the wave nature of the light with the help of experiments
5   5. To be able to compare between the experimental and theoretical results
6   6. To be able to write reports about data gathered from experiments
