Course Objective

To teach general taxonomy, nomenclature and classification systems; general characteristics of seedless plant and seed section and important class of biologically important taxa the structure of this section, the tool and examples of plants in these families of Turkey.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to learn general taxonomy, nomenclature and classification systems.
2   To be able to learn important class and team members with general features of seedless plants and biological structures of important taxa belonging to these seeds.
3   To be able to learn important class and team members with general features of seedless plants and biological structures of important taxa belonging to these seeds.
4   To be able to learn seedless and seedy plants in our country.

Course topics according to learning outcomes will be assessed via midterm, homeworks, and final exams.

Attendence rule is 70% for the lectures and 80% for the laboratory section.
Attemps to cheat may result in disciplinary actions.
The instructor has right to make quizzes. The scores obtained from quizzes may be added to midterm and final grades. Students will be informed at the beginning of the semester.
