Course Objective

To teach the general structure of plants, plant cell, anatomical and morphological structure, plant biochemistry, transport of ions, photosynthesis, photosynthesis, respiration, germination and hormones, growth and development of physiological events.

1   To be able to learn plants, plant cell, anatomical and morphological structure.
2   To be able to learn photosynthesis, photosynthesis, respiration.
3   To be able to learn understand germination and ion exchange in plants with hormones.
4   To be able to learn the physiological events of growth and development.

5 Plant biochemistry, diffusion, osmosis and swelling
6 Sweating, transport of water and mineral ions
7 Photosynthesis (light and dark cycle reactions)

9 Dark cycle reactions in C4 and glass plants
10 Photosynthesis, nitrogen metabolism

Course topics according to learning outcomes will be assessed via midterm, homeworks, and final exams.

Atendence rule is 70% for the lectures and 80% for the laboratory section.
Attemps to cheat may result in disciplinary actions.
The instructor has right to make quizzes. The scores obtained from quizzes may be added to midterm and final grades. Students will be informed at the beginning of the semester.
