Course Objective

To learn nutrition and reproduction patterns in living organisms; plant tissues and organs; animal tissues and organ systems; human body and organs; living communities and the environment; and the misconceptions about these subjects.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to learn nutrition and reproductive forms in living organisms.
2   To be able to learn plant tissues and organs.
3   To be able to learn animal tissues and organ systems, human body and organs.
4   To be able to learn living communities and the environment, and the conceptual misconceptions about these subjects.

Course topics according to learning outcomes will be assessed via midterm, homeworks, and final exams.

Attendence rule is 70% for the lectures and 80% for the laboratory section.
Attemps to cheat may result in disciplinary actions.
The instructor has right to make quizzes. The scores obtained from quizzes may be added to midterm and final grades. Students will be informed at the beginning of the semester.
