Course Objective

To apply the teaching methods in subject area, teaching-learning processes and general teaching methods to subject area teaching. To examine the textbooks in the subject area with a critical perspective and to associate them with teaching methods and strategies. To make micro teaching practices and evaluate teaching. To develop and apply teacher guide materials based on knowledge and skills acquired in Science Teaching 1 course.

1   Knows the teaching strategies, methods and techniques used in science teaching.
2   Uses the scientific process, thinking, life, engineering and design skills.
3   Uses the different teaching methods and techniques in instructional plans to prepare.
4   Knows the competencies that the Science Teacher should possess.
5   Uses current teaching approaches in science teaching.
6   Follows and learns new teaching approaches in science teaching.
