Course Objective

The aim of this course is to acquire knowledge and skills in the diagnosis, treatment and management of a patient who admit to a medical institution with symptoms and signs of emergency medical condition.

In the fifthy years the assessments are done at the end of each block and minimum 60 is required to be successful.
DEUMF Rules and Regulations
Article 20
a) To take the OSCE and theoretical exams, task-end progress evaluations should be 60,Mid-Term Achievement Assessment (0%) and above for the 70% of the tasks in the block. The average of the task-end progress evaluations, OSCE and written exam grades should be all 60 and above and block end grade should be minimum 60 in order to be successful from the block.

Assessment Criteria

In the fifthy years, the student success was evaluated on a yearly basis as an annual grade out of 100 points. The passing point of the period is determined as 60 (sixty).

The success evaluation score for 5. class is calculated based on the rates of the exams mentioned below.

Corporate/Institutional Exam Grade (50%)
