Course Objective

This course includes topics like the importance and position of measurement and evaluation in learning-teaching process, basic concepts about measurement and evaluation, the characteristics of measurement tools and techniques, basic statistical procedures related to measures, basic concepts, features and developmental processes of testing tools and techniques, and different evaluation approaches to education.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

2	To understand the qualities of measurement tools and methods used in education.
3	To understand the properties of the goals in Bloom's original and the revised taxonomy.
4	To understand the basic concepts and properties concerned with the exam types.
5	To apply basic statistical techniques on the test scores
6	To understand the stages of developing a measurement tool
7	To understand the types and approaches to evaluation
