Course Objective

To create awareness about the relationship between education and sustainable development.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the concept of sustainability and its usage areas.
2   Understand the concept of sustainability in the context of social change
3   Have an idea about education, the future of humanity and sustainability
4   List the causes of migration, poverty and inequality
5   Get knowledge about global environmental problems and what to do for creating a sustainable society which is in harmony with nature.
6   Become aware of population, economic system and natural environment.
7   Evaluate technological developments and consumption habits in terms of social responsibility
8   Gain the ability to think human-nature relations on the axis of sustainability
