Course Objective

For the purpose of being a Classical Guitar player at an equal level of universal standarts, providing-developing technical, stylistical and aesthetical skills. Additionally recognizing and practicing on the samples of literature from all musical periods to improve technical and musical abilities.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Comprehends easily basic principles of sound formation and using convenience .
2   Can play-interpret guitar pieces with a proper technique and musical approach at an appropriate level for the course.
3   Can develop typical practicing techniques for solving technical-physical problems about guitar playing .
4   Follows the national and international guitar activities, takes part and responsibility on convenient projects.
5   Creates a program from the personal repertoire that is worked on, plans the activities to perform it on stage .

Main Source: All solo works from Renaissance to present-day written for guitar in different forms and appropriate for the level.
Supplementary Source: Visual and auditory material about composers, musical forms, and interpreting styles about the works that are studied in the semester. Recordings of the studied works from several different performers.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The delivery of the course mode is face to face and practical basically. The lessons learned is presented on stage, exams and competitions.

Performing the selected and prepared works properly and with a fluent technique, considering with periodical, musical and aesthetical features. Obtaining the control on the stage and using the body language.
