Course Objective

For the purpose of being a classical guitar player, to be able to analyze and read polyphonic classic and modern-graphic writing, develop the control of the instrument with respect to sight reading.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Analyzes polyphonic structures and textures for sight reading.
2   Can easily read music at first sight with correct comprehension of harmonic and melodic structures on single staff polyphonic music
3   Works on typical exercises for sight reading intended for concentration and building time control.
4   Tolerates stumbles-errors that may occur when reading and playing.
5   Creates creative resources for sight reading with guitar.
