Course Objective

It has been aimed to teach students, by using designing softwares, the methods of form production through digital modelling at sculpture education and to make use of new production and presentation facilities by means of these methods.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The students will be able to learn computer-aided production
2   The students will be able to product new and unique forms by means of computer-aided softwares
3   The students will be able to gain perfection to create their own projects with distinctive methods
4   The students will be able to identify professional terminology and notions about computer-aided form production
5   The students will be able to have the skill to solve problems by using the time between sketching and execution / practice in the right way.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lecturer will help the students to create their sculptures in digital media by teaching them computer-aided form production and will also inform the students about the possible problems, and their solutions, that could be faced throughout the stages of production. During the education related to identifying and solving the problems at form production, general informing about different softwares will be done and the students will be responsible for presentations and exhibitions of year-end projects.
