Course Objective

The aim of this course is to help students understand and improve social and emotional skills of middle school aged children.

1   Understand the relationship between academic success and social-emotional skills.
2   Describe the role of social-emotional skills in school settings.
3   Understand the basic social- emotional skills.
4   Design a social emotional learning program for middle school students.
