Course Objective

To train dentists who have both basic and clinical knowledge in the field of oral biology, who are fully knowledgeable about ethical values, who can closely follow technological developments, who have critical thinking, and who are investigative.

1 Introduction to oral biology, purpose, objectives and course introduction, Oral cavity, Maxilla, Mandible, Temporomandibular joint, Dentition, Oro-facial muscles, chewing, tongue, swallowing, speech Literature review of the potential place of the oral cavity in the diagnosis systemic diseases
2 Seminar Literature review of the potential place of the oral cavity in the diagnosis systemic diseases
3 Orofacial muscles, swallowing, speech Seminar- Literature review of the potential place of the oral cavity in the diagnosis of systemic diseases
4 Vascular, lymphatic structures and innervation Oral biology and General Dentistry
