Course Objective

We aim to have the students weave their own designs on dobby weaving loom using basic knitting and derivations, and the threads and materials they have chosen.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

We try to enrich the students' theoretical knowledge by applications thanks to their viewing how basic knitting and derivations are formed by examining the sample weaving made before. Moreover, we show how plainweave, fustian and satin are used together on dobby weaving loom.
