Course Objective

The aim of the course to prepare students for courses that are related to the traditional textile arts and designs in the four years of B.A. Hons. Education.

1   To have required basic knowledge on historical Turkish textiles
2   Learning knowledge about general feature of traditıonal textile
3   Learning knowledge about necessary infrastructure to be able to a desingner
4   Learning knowledge about apatterns and compositions of traditional textiles

Assessment Criteria

The course evaluation grade is calculated by adding 40% of the midterm grade, 10% of the course attendance grade and 50% of the final grade. In the midterm and final, the basic theoretical knowledge of the student in the field is evaluated. In class participation, the student's attendance and in-class performance are evaluated.
