Course Objective

As a faculty member, to support the formation and development of Adapted and/or Fiction scenarios of short films that make up the kitchen of the cinema together with the student, to support the development of cinema genres such as Documentary, Docudrama, Clip, Advertising, Fiction, Experimental, Science Fiction, Fantasy, etc.
To transfer a good art education within academic disciplines by improving the knowledge and skills of the student through exemplary studies.
It will enable him to develop his knowledge and skills by gaining the ability to use different technologies, adapt to different fields and do teamwork, and to take place in the right areas in the art of cinema and the sector, where the arts meet.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

During the preliminary preparation of one of the film genres chosen by the student for the semester project (such as advertising, documentary, clip, fantasy, science fiction), it is necessary to clear the prejudices of his life in order to do advanced research on the subject, to know the target audience, and to develop the project differently from previous examples. Methods of perspective on life, recognizing his environment, being a creative person who questions and researches life are taught.
After the faculty member approves the scenario, brainstorming will be started with other students who want to support the project.
He will be directed to work on the scenario for the construction phase of the project. Technical equipment and technical materials will be approved. A shooting schedule will be created for the project implementation.
Filming will begin for the realization of the project, which has been approved by the faculty member. During the shooting, the student will be supported by the faculty member on the sets.

Assessment Criteria

Projects will be evaluated considering that they appeal to the target audience, use technology, have cinematographic aesthetics and language.
The sine qua non of a film project such as film language, light, composition, use of technical materials, editing, sound, and creative scenario will form the evaluation criteria.

Course Policies and Rules

1- Projects to be delivered at the end of the semester in the first 6 weeks at the beginning of the semester
files are created. This period may extend to 7-8 weeks. This is because the number of students is uncertain.
2- Students are not required to attend the implementation studies of the projects.
3- During the implementation of the delivered project files in accordance with the work schedule
4- The student is notified at the beginning of the semester that the approved projects will not be changed.
5- Projects that are not delivered on time are not evaluated.
