Course Objective

To improve students' German comprehension, listening, writing and speaking skills through lectures and exercises.
To enable students to use German in the best way.
To enable students to realise the characteristics of German and German culture as translator candidates.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to communicate about frequently encountered situations.
2   Be able to understand simple newspaper texts, informative texts and texts on topics that are not unfamiliar to him/her, such as job adverts, travelling etc.
3   Be able to talk and write about simple topics of interest to him/her (work, family, hobbies, health, etc.).
