Course Objective

To improve students' German comprehension, listening, writing and speaking skills through lectures and exercises. To enable students to use German in the best way. To enable students to realise the characteristics of German and German culture as translator candidates.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to understand and use expressions and phrases to meet everyday needs. 2   When the other person speaks slowly, he/she can have a dialogue on everyday topics and can ask and answer questions on such topics. 3   Be able to understand short newspaper texts. 4   Be able to write simple texts.
