Course Objective

The main purpose of the course is to develop the students' ability to comprehend the development of the art of animation and the results of the produced examples, thus helping the students reach the intellectual level that can create the examples that can guide the art of animation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to discuss the formal approaches of different countries in the art of world animation,
2   To be able to discuss the content choices of different countries in world animation art.
3   To be able to understand the differences of animation techniques,
4   To be able to discuss the relationship between the art of animation and economy,
5   While producing animation projects, it is expected that they can make a healthy plan with cause and effect relationship.

1 Discussion of the concepts of copy, reproduction, inspiration, alteration and originality within the framework of animation art. The role of economy in animation works.

3 Personality structures in animation projects Discussing animation culture in the Turkey across genres.
4 Discussing animation culture in the United States across genres. Different examples of expression in animation works.

7 Discussing animation culture in the Japan across genres.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The history of world animation and the reasons and results of the produced examples in the geographical, cultural and historical context are conveyed and students are researched.
