Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to help students follow recent technological developments, and get them to think about how such developments change the process of content creation and distribution.

1   To learn about recent communication, content creation and distribution technologies
2   To learn how recent advancements in technology are being used in animated film production
3   To learn and discuss the legal and moral implications of advancements in technology in relation to film production
4   To make a habit of following recent developments in technology
5   To be able to employ recent developments in technology in personal projects

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Each week, class discussions are held on contemporary topics. Students are expected to actively participate in these discussions and present their own ideas on recent developments in the fields of film and animation.
