Course Objective

To improve student piano techniques and provide perception of musical elements of the different ages Western Art Music (Baroque, Classic , Romantic and 2O.Century) and genres including Jazz, Blues and Pop Music (it is continuation of Piano V)

1   play paralell scales in different tones with right technique
2   play paralell arpeggios in different tones with right technique
3   interprete the pieces accurately including more complex musical signs like accidentals
4   know importance and places of piano pedals in musical expressions.
5   play different piano pieces form various ages including different techniques

Course Contents

1 Deciding piano piece for suitible level.
2 Practicing the pieces,scales an arpeggios.
3 Practicing etudes and octave scales toward piano pieces.
4 Piano pedals, age and sylistic features of piano pieces.
5 Tempos and dynamics of pieces
6 Practicing accurate tempos and dynamics of pieces and etudes.
7 Practicing accurate tempos and dynamics of new pieces and etudes
8 Chromatic scale, desiding new pieces and sihgt reading.
9 Mid-term exam
10 Technique and musical expressions studies toward ages and genres of pieces
11 Desiding new pieces,practicing scales and arpeggios and sight reading.
12 Practicing accurate tempos and dynamics of pieces.
13 Technique and musical expressions studies.
