Course Objective

To learn advanced radiographic techniques, to gain the ability to interpret anatomy and pathology in images taken with advanced imaging techniques.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1 Explains advanced imaging methods and their differences from conventional methods.
2   2 Explains the cone beam tomography and computed tomography methods, lists the basic working principles and lists the indications.
3   3 Explains the basic working principles and usage areas of the ultrasound imaging method.
4   4 Explains the magnetic resonance imaging method and counts the usage areas.
5   5 Explains radiographic anatomy in images obtained with advanced imaging methods.

4. The student should be able to explain the magnetic resonance imaging method and list its usage areas.
5. The student should be able to recognize radiographic anatomy in images obtained by advanced imaging methods.
