Course Objective

To teach laboratory methods used for the diagnosis of oral diseases, preparation of samples and applications.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understands the role of microscopic examination in dental practice.
2   Understands which laboratory methods can be used in the diagnosis and post-treatment follow-up process.
3   Knows the tools used in the basic sciences laboratory and their uses.
4   Have knowledge about basic painting methods.
5   Have knowledge about the procedures to be done before the histopathological evaluation of intraoral lesions.
