Course Objective

To give info regarding biopsy indications and techniques,pre-protetic operations, odontogenic infection patogenesis and treatment, apicectomy, odontogenic and non-odontogenic cysts, osteomyelitis, and maxillary sinus diseases and decision on consultation to a specialist.

1   Defines Principls of clinical work flow in oral surgery
2   Diagnosis and managemet of oral diseases and preventive strategies are briefly explained
3   Microbiology of odontogenic infections and possible route sof spread are explained
4   Dental mangement strategies of medicall compromised patients are explained
