Course Objective

Description of intraoral tissues,determination of physiological and pathological situations and developing an appropriate treatment plan

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1 Clinical evaluation of intraoral and periodontal tissues and to set up a periodontal rehabilitaton plan
2   2 Learning of periodontal treatment stages in accordance with the treatment plan
3   3 Performing the periodontal treatment stages
4   4 Performing the final stage of the periodontal treatment
5   5 Prospective control of the periodontal rehabilitation and realizing recommendations to the patients

Week Subject Description
1 "Student performs the extra and intra-oral examinations, collects medical, familial and dental data, reaches to a diagnosis and completes patientspecific treatment planning. Afterwards, these procedures are evaluated by the instructors and his associates within the presence of the student and the patient. Necessary warnings are provided and explained."
