To gain general information about addiction and to inform about combating addiction.

Assessment Criteria

Types of addiction (substance addiction, technology addiction, etc.); causes of addiction; enumerates the risk factors in the family, peer group and social context that prepare the person for the substance abuse process. Communication skills in dependent children, adolescents and adults; enumerates the role of social work in addiction. Models related to addiction; addiction prevention effort; consequences of addiction; counts the national policy and strategy methods in the fight against addiction.
