Course Objective

To introduce students to the concept of surgery, to teach tooth extraction methods.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Has approaches related to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases that occur in the mouth, teeth and tooth-like tissues and jaw and surrounding tissues.
2   Takes medical and dental history (anamnesis) from the patient and/or patient's relatives, examines the mouth, teeth, jaw and surrounding tissues and tooth-like structures.
