Course Objective

To know the microbiology of endodontic infections and to learn the post-treatment recovery theoretically in detail and to gain pre-clinical hand dexterity by applying root canal treatment on extracted teeth in all stages.

2   Knows the materials used in root canal treatment.
3   Knows endodontic microbiology and immunology.

Assessment Criteria

1. The student must be able to remove the root canal pulp and determine the working length,
2. The student knows the stages of root canal treatment and should be able to apply it.
3. The student should be able to describe endodontic microbiology and methods of theraphy.
