Course Objective

It aims to explain the general information about the surgical diseases encountered in animals and the diagnostic treatment methods.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defines surgical diseases.
2   Can choose the methods to be used in the treatment of surgical diseases.
3   Decide on the surgical technique to be used according to the disease.
4   It shows surgical intervention capability.
5   Selects the equipment to be used according to the organs and systems.
6   Knows the patient's dressing procedures and methods of approach to complications that may arise in the post-operative period.

3 Diseases of the nose and nasal cavity
4 Diseases of the oral cavity
5 Diseases of the Tongue, Diseases of the salivary gland and ducts
6 Ear diseases othaematoma, otitis externa, otomycosis.otocariasis, perforation of membrana tympani otitis media, bulla ostetomy.
7 Midterm
8 Diseases of the neck area
9 Larynx and trachea diseases
10 Surgical Diseases of the Thorax Region
11 Sternum costas and Diseases of the Thoracic cavity Sternum fistula, Thoracosentesis punction of the thoracic cavity, Hernia Diaphragmatica
12 Surgical diseases of the abdominal wall Traumatic lesions, contusions, facial and perforated wounds of the abdominal wall
13 Hernias of the Abdominal Area Hernia ventralis, Hernia umblicalis, Hernia ingunaliset scrotalis, Hernia perinealis, Hernia perinealis
