Course Objective

It is aimed to teach the metabolic activities of poultry, clinical parameters and to use these knowledge and skills in poultry veterinary medicine.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learns the differences of some biochemical mechanisms specific to poultry compared to mammals.
2   Knows the analysis techniques of biochemical parameters specific to poultry, reference values and the situations expressed by their changes.
3   Knows digestion and absorption, energy metabolism and metabolism of biomolecules in poultry.
4   Knows biochemical diagnosis methods of diseases specific to poultry.
