Course Objective

It was aimed to the students have information about the biophysical events that take place in the cell and biological systems, and the knowledge they have gained is the basis for the courses they will take in other semesters.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows and explains the basic concepts and units used in physics.
2   Knows and explains the atomic and molecular structure of living things and intermolecular interactions.
3   Knows the structure, properties, functions of the cell membrane and the passage of substances through the cell membrane.
4   Knows the basic principles of thermodynamics in living things.
5   Learns muscle mechanics and contraction mechanisms.
6   Explains the electrical events in the heart and the mechanics of the circulatory system.
7   Tells the mechanics of respiration.
8   Knows the working principles of EEG, EMG and EKG.
9   Defines radiation and knows the biological effects of radiation.
