Course Objective

Recognising school and school management, understanding the function of management processes in the school, developing a perspective towards the human relations in the school management.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Recognising the education system in general.
2   Recognising the school as an organization and understanding its place in the education system.
3   Acquiring knowledge about the dimensions of the school as an organization.
4   Understanding the function of management processes in school.
5   Being able to evaluate the characteristics that school administrators have to obtain.
6   Acquiring the legal knowledge that school administrators have to follow.
7   Understanding the duties, authority and responsibilities of school administrators.
8   Understanding the importance of human relations in school administration.
