Specific Admission Requirements |
Acceptance based on Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree with Thesis, Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES) or equivalent GRE, GMAT and acceptable score on Language Proficiency in the same or related disciplines, and the GPA earned in the bachelor's degree or master's degree with thesis and ALES score. It is necessary to have a weighted score that can be achieved. Final acceptance depends on the evaluation of the relevant academic unit commission. Admission conditions for international students are decided by the Institute Board of Directors. In the admission conditions for the PhD in Photography Department, ALES (VERBAL) 55 points and 55 Foreign Language scores are required. |

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
As a requirement of postgraduate education in the field of art education, courses can be completed with evaluation methods such as art and/or design works and/or projects and performance studies, in addition to methods such as written exams and report presentation. Exams, assessments and evaluations and their grading may vary for each course. Detailed information on this subject is included in the courses section of the teaching plan. In addition to midterm and final exams, the student's work performance during the semester can also be used to evaluate the student's work performance during the semester through evaluation methods such as course reports, assignments, seminar presentations, art and design projects and performance studies. In order for a student to be considered successful in a course, the grade he/she receives must be at least 75 out of 100. The student must retake the compulsory courses he failed. If he/she fails the elective courses, he/she can take another elective course instead with the approval of the web registration advisor. Seminar course, field of specialization and thesis work do not have credit according to the local credit system and are evaluated as successful or unsuccessful. |

Throughout their education, students are required to know the relevant regulations, codes of practice and other regulatory provisions and principles at the institute, to show the interest and care expected of them to learn these, and to comply with the regulations made by the institute management regarding education, course and exam programs, success charts and other matters.
