Course Objective |
The aim of this course to study the theory and methodologies of postcolonial studies which is closely affiliated, and in a way closely related to translation studies as they both focus on the interaction of at least two cultures, languages and peoples and what that interaction yields as a result in general terms. Within this context some of the founding and pioneering texts of postcolonial studies will studied with an eye on translation studies. |
