Course Objective

Introducing approaches, research and studies regarding the presentation of archaeological knowledge to society and transferring it to future generations, and providing basic information on preserving and exhibiting the archaeological heritage.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Understands the development of the concept of cultural heritage
2   2. Identifies the problems encountered in cultural heritage area management and searches for solutions
3   3. Understands the introduction of applications.
4   4. Identify the problems encountered in the protection and exhibition of cultural assets and discover application methods.

4 4. Promotion and analysis of laws and regulations regarding conservation and cultural heritage in Türkiye
5 5. New approaches and formations regarding cultural heritage management
6 6. Open-air museums and their development
7 7. Problems of protection and exhibition of archaeological sites
