Course Objective |
This course is primarily at the stage of creating a brand in textile and fashion design; transferring the basic information of brand formation, marketing and product development processes and enabling students to create a brand individually or as a team, fabrics, clothes, etc. for textile and fashion design within the brand they created. aims to create collections. Another purpose; The design criteria in the period (research, draft, sketch, design, material selection, production, presentation) of fabric, clothing or similar designs from the sketch stage to the transformation of the product, original and creative designs can be made as a result of the interpretation of the trend report created by the student and mastering this process. to be able to make material and technical analyzes while transforming their designs into products, to create the collection and to present the collection it has created, and to strengthen and develop the creativity and collection logic in this direction. |

Assesment for course involves creativeness in designings, innovative approach, consistence with point of inspiration , the suitability of the designs to the created brand and the selected product group,, consistence of chosen material and practice technique in transition from designing to output, compatibility of finished item with origanal design and assesment / grading on presentation of collections by instructor/ lecturer |
