Course Objective

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver holistic care to children and their families, in line with pediatric nursing theories and models.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ability to define theories and models related to pediatric nursing
2   Ability to compare theories and models related to pediatric nursing
3   Ability to express the importance of using theories and models in planning the care of the child and family
4   Ability to plan the care of the child and family based on pediatric nursing theories and models
5   Ability to apply pediatric nursing theories and models in clinical practice
6   Ability to relate nursing services for children and families to pediatric nursing theories and models
7   Ability to relate child development to theories

Through exams, interpreting, remembering, decision-making, description, information, assembly skills are evaluated.
It is evaluated research a topic, to analyze with the world examples, comparison of samples, based on evidence of harmful traditional practices, the ability to express himself in writing with student homework.
