Course Objective

To assess from a broad perspective Iconographic motifs seen in Turkish art . To clarify the issues focusing on topics such as stylistic issue, typology, architectural sculpture.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gains knowledge to recognize the historical enviroment as a whole and evaluates from a broad perspective.
2   Recognizes and analyzes the iconographic motifs seen in Turkish art.
3   Determines the problem relate to the field and can designes solutions with alternatives projects.
4   Provides solutions for the protection of Architectural and cultural heritage.
5   Gains the ability of independently conducting a study requiring expertise in the field of Islamic history and arts.
