Course Objective

To have knowledge about the methods and techniques used in the field of religious education. To acquire the knowledge, skills and behaviors necessary to establish the relationship between General Teaching Methods, Special Teaching Methods and Special Teaching Methods in Religious Education.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will have information about the institutions and the fields of religious education.
2   They will believe in the necessity of using appropriate teaching methods and techniques in R.E. teaching processes.
3   They will establishe the link between general teaching and special teaching methods and methods and techniques of religious instruction.
4   They will evaluate religious education and teaching practices with the help of the acquired knowledge.
5   They will have theoretical knowledge about appropriate methods and techniques and their application in religious education and teaching in general.
6   They will learn to think correctly and generate ideas.
