Course Objective

Focusing on active and participatory learning approaches, participants are informed about presentation methods, small group activities, and both micro and macro educational practices. Additionally, the aim is to impart both knowledge and skills regarding teaching methods in small group settings, along with skill training.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Discuss the concepts of active and participatory learning. 2   Discuss the principles of effective presentation. 3   Discuss the usage principles and methods of small group studies. 4   Plan and execute an effective presentation. 5   Define micro and macro educational practices. 6   Define the principles and steps of skill training. 7   Structure the tools for skill training. 8   Plan a skill training session. 9   Define the principles and stages of problem-based learning. 10   Define the principles and stages of task-based learning. 11   Discuss the roles of the educator. 12   Discuss the roles of the student.
