Course Objective

To make students comprehend the principles and procedures of collective bargaining, peaceful resolution of disputes, strikes, and lockouts in order to regulate the mutual economic and social conditions and working conditions of workers and employers and thus enable them to perceive the current functioning of collective labor relations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to define the collective bargaining agreement, the concepts of strike and lockout
2   To be able to reveal the differences between the collective business relationship and the individual business relationship
3   To be able to explain the process of making a collective bargaining agreement
4   To be able to explain the use of legal strike and legal lockout rights
5   To be able to reveal the development of the mediation institution by stating the difference between a conflict of rights and a conflict of interest.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Reinforcing what was explained with practical solutions, ensuring the participation of the students in the lesson by teaching the lesson in the form of questions and answers, examining the decisions of the Court of Cassation, and making the students read the relevant legislation while the subject is being explained.
