Course Objective

This course, focusing on the formation of the modern world, will examine a broad historical period from the 15th century, marking the transition to the modern era, to the end of the First World War, through key events and phenomena.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to analyze the formation of the modern world from a historical perspective, encompassing political, economic, military, religious, and social dimensions.
2   To evaluate the causes and consequences of the transformations that began in Europe.
3   To assess the impact of European transformations on the rest of the world.
