Course Objective

The buyers and recipients of universal ethical principles and standards are important for all employees in the tourism sector, which causes the people of countries with different economic and cultural values to meet. The aim of this course is to teach tourism students the basic ethical requirements, ethical theories, analyze the finances that push the person to act ethically and to make them comprehend what needs to be done in order to carry out the defective services in the sector.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1) Gaining knowladge about ethics and bacis concepts releated to ethics.
2   2) Gaining knowladge about ethical theories.
3   3) Establishing professional ethical awareness in businesses operating in the tourism sector and in every field.
4   4) To be able to approach ethical dilemmas and problems that may arise in accommodation establishment, food establishment and travel establishment in a sensitive and increased awareness manner.
5   5) Resolving ethical dilemmas and problems experienced in accommodation establishment, food establishment and travel establishment.
