Course Objective

One of the aims of the course is to examine certain managerial issues that are of great importance in terms of Tourism Management, to examine management specifically in terms of Tourism Management, to inform students about current issues that will bring businesses ahead in a period of intense competition and to contribute to their current knowledge. In addition, one of the aims of the course is to provide the students with the competence to use the information they have learned in practice.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have knowledge about human resources management and organization in tourism enterprises
2   To have knowledge about job analysis and human resources planning in tourism enterprises
3   To gain knowledge and competence on issues such as staff empowerment, career planning and recruitment
4   To comprehend the association of human resources management with information technologies in tourism enterprises
5   To have knowledge about the trainings required in human resources in tourism enterprises
