Course Objective

The aim of this course is to give the graduate level nursing students aware of the use thchology in home care of the child patient, the tole of the Pediatric Nurse in the integration of technology with care, and the technological tools that faciliate patient care and treatment.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to group technology-dependent children, to classify home care principles and the needs of their families
2   To be aware of technological products used in the care of pediatric patient
3   To be able to explain special care approaches used in risky children
4   To be able to integrate the nursing care of children with chronic diseases with technology

Assessment Criteria

Mid-term grade is the mid-term exam. 40% of this grade and 60% of the final grade will be determined as the course grade.
Final Achievement Grade: 40% of the semester grade + 60% of the final grade = 100 must be at least 60 on the full grade.
