Course Objective

This course, know palliative care purposes, philosophy and principles of palliative care team roles and responsibilities, determine to the child and family's palliative care needs, planning for nursing interventions the palliative care needs of children with pain and others ymptoms, communicate children with cancer and their parents, plan care to dying be able tochildren with cancer and their families, the families, plan care to mourning process is intended to facilitate.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the aim of palliative care, principles, roles and responsibilities of the nurse.
2   Explain in childrentothepathophysiology of physicalsymptoms
3   Plan and conduct maintain the comfort of the child and family nursing care,using evidence-based information
4   Planning and counseling to care of the child and family at home.
5   Plan and conduct in thecare of dying children and their families.
6   Provide support families who lost children to in the process of mourning
