Course Objective

To introduce theory, theoretical framework, theoretical/conceptual framework, model concepts and application examples in Mathematics Education.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to ntroduce the concepts of theory, theoretical framework, theoretical/conceptual framework and model
2   To be able to recognize the theoretical framework, theoretical/conceptual framework and models used in current studies in the field of mathematics education
3   To be able to research the theoretical framework, theoretical/conceptual framework and models used in current studies in the field of mathematics education and to have knowledge of how to use them in their own studies
4   To be able to conduct literature review regarding theory, theoretical framework, theoretical/conceptual framework and model concepts
5   To be able to analyze studies related to theory, theoretical framework, theoretical/conceptual framework and model concepts.
