Course Objective

This course includes topics like knowledge on basic concepts about test development, defining the scope of the test and traits to be tested, forming the tentative items and constructing the pilot form, piloting and preparation for the analysis, calculating test-item and test statistics, selecting the appropriate test-items, and constituting the final test.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Introduction the measurement tools in education
2   Create construct specifications for a cognitive, attitudinal, or behavioral measurement instrument
3   Develop items consistent with a set of construct specifications
4   Pilot test instrument and conduct item analyses to select items
5   Conduct validity and reliability analyses of field test data
6   Formation of final test/scale and report
