Course Objective

This course aims to enable students to recognize and discuss the social foundations of Religious Education and the main problems of social religious education.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to: know social foundations as one of the main foundations of education and religious education.
2   Explain the connection between social foundations of religious education and social dimensions of other sciences.
3   Explain social foundations of religious education with main terms of education.
4   Be aware of the possibility in co-operation between education and religious education in creating social values and practicing the education.
5   Fully understand the terms education and religious education.

10 The contributions of religious education in social process'.
11 The contributions of religious education in solving social issues.
12 The contribution of religious education in social morality.
13 Religious education and value relation.
14 Religious education and its place in social politics.
